And by that I mean that the author didn't have the main character go over & over & over & over the facts so many times that it became boring. You kept the storyline flowing & it didn't become stagnant. For that I want to Thank the author for not insulting our intellect & making the main character out to be a buffoon who can't get the facts straight! I feel that if an author can't find anything else to write in their books & have to fill in the gaps by repeating the clue endlessly then they need to shorten the book, like Celia did. I must confess I figured out whodunnit long before the end, but I also have been reading murder mysteries for nearly 50 years. I definitely recommend these books!
